Who We Are

BluNote Suspension’s core business is the service, repair and set-up of all major motorbike suspension brands.

The owner of BluNote suspension, has been active in the motor cycle racing fraternity for over a decade. Starting out in the superbike environment, he played around with suspension setup to gradually seek improvement through providing a more stable platform through which a rider can improve.  Over a 25 year period he has honed his skills to such an extent that the value he has brought to riders of all skill levels was commented upon by some as a “Dark Art”, through which riders were able to substantially improve their riding skills and ultimately their performance.

As the market evolved, Leon as an active racing member of the Bert Smith Off Road Racing team for more than 15 years, started to employ his suspension skills in the Off Road and Enduro environments. Over the years a multitude of riders from different disciplines and skill levels approached him seeking suspension advice through which BluNote Suspension was born. As the advantages of a differentiated BluNote suspension setup became apparent, more and more riders required attention from him, which has defined Leon Gerber and consequently BluNote Suspension as a “Legend” in the racing landscape.  Not only is the improved riding experience sought after but the attention to detail in actual suspension setup unrivalled in the industry.

Leon’s passion for improvement is apparent from the moment a rider engages him on the subject of suspension.  The fact that suspension setup is multi-faceted, driven by personalized characteristics and skillset, it provides the perfect backdrop through which BluNote Suspension finds the ideal setup for every rider.
